Wilma Jean Kaime, 92 of Largo Canyon, passed away January 1, 2018, in Aztec, New Mexico. She was born July 11, 1925, in Goltry, Oklahoma, to Arney R. and Eithel I. King Patterson. She graduated from Aztec High School. Wilma married Joe N. Kaime, a lifetime rancher, May 15, 1944, at the United Methodist Church in Aztec. She was at the ranch for 73 years, and was a joyous supporter of her husband and family in their endeavors. Wilma was also a member of the New Mexico Cattle Growers association and related organizations. She is survived by her daughter Carrie M. Pickering and son Mark C. (Becky) Kaime; grandchildren Trina R. (Gary) Bowers and Vance A (Shannon) Kaime; great grandchildren Jordan, Reilly and Pyper Bowers; Niece Beverly J. Lawson, Nephew George M. "Don" (Deb Lawson Jr. and Many other nieces and nephews. Wilma leaves a permanent void in the lives of her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held January 8, 2018 at 11:00am at the Aztec Cemetery. Officiating will be Mike Stahl with the United Methodist Church of Aztec. No viewing will be held prior to services. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in her name.
