WILLIAM KEITH STEVENSON, (BILL) 58 Bill Stevenson, 58 of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away September 12, 2013 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, returning from the Mayo Clinic. Viewing will be held at Brewer, Lee, and Larkin Funeral home on Tuesday September 17, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral will be held at 4400 College Blvd at the LDS church on Wednesday September 18, 2013 at 11:00 am with a short viewing at 10:00 am. Bishop Payne of LDS Farmington 8th ward will be conducting. Burial will follow on Thursday September 19thin Vernal, Utah at the Maeser Fairview Cemetery with a small grave site ceremony at 11:00 am. For the past year Bill had been fighting a rare disease called amyloidosis affecting his heart. His treatment consisted of extensive chemotherapy but he always stayed positive and willing to fight. Bill was born in Sunnyside, Utah to John (Jack) and Marian Stevenson on May 19, 1955. He graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1973. For the past 10 years he worked for BHP Billiton where he met some wonderful people. He was a member of the LDS Farmington 8th ward where he acted as the ward clerk. Bills happiest times were spent with his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, golfing, coaching, and 4- wheeling in Moab with his wife and close friends. Bill had such a contagious laugh; you couldn't help but smile and laugh when you were around him. His jokes will be repeated for years to come. Bill is preceded in death by his father, John (Jack) Stevenson, step father Dee Potter, brother James Stevenson. Bill is survived by his wife Tami Stevenson of Farmington, NM, mother Marian Potter of Salt Lake City, UT, son's Shane Stevenson of Shiprock, NM; Brett Stevenson of Green River, WY; and Chet Murray of Rifle, CO; daughter's Kristy Spalding of Green River, WY; Erin Curtis of Tyler, TX; and Lynzi Murray of Farmington, NM; brother Dan Stevenson of Saint George, UT; sister Terry Tubbs of Price, UT; 12 awesome grandchildren and many nieces, nephews. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the all the friends that have been supportive over the last year of hardship.
