Ubaldo Eloy Jacquez

January 20, 1947 — April 23, 2014

Ubaldo Jacquez "Moscon," 67, beloved father and grandfather, of Gallina residing in Farmington, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, in Farmington. He was born in Gallina, Jan. 20, 1947, to Max and Trinidad Jacquez. He worked for many years for Maluoff and company as a distributor of Coors and other liquors. Ubaldo was preceded in death by his parents, two older sisters Vivian, and Virginia, an older brother Johnny and a younger brother Carlos. He is survived by his two sons Randy (Valarie) Jacquez of Farmington; Ronnie (Veronica) Jacquez of Bloomfield; granddaughter Krystal (Luke) Valdez who he treasured more like a daughter; three brothers, Chris, Frank, and Felipe. Sisters, Isabel, Sylvia, Trinny and Mary; five grandchildren, Santiago, Jacob, Tyler, Randy Jr., and Olivia; and two great-grandchildren, Julianna and Jeremiah. Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. today, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 414 N. Allen Ave. in Farmington, for his friends and family in the Farmington area. A rosary will also be recited at 7 p.m.on Friday, April 25, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Gallina, for his friends and family in the Gallina area. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Gallina. He will be laid to rest at the Gallina Cemetery in Gallina. Ubaldo's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington, 505-325-8688.
