Timothy George Foster passed away on March 4, 2016 in Farmington, NM. He was born December 25, 1942 in Carlsbad, NM to George and Edith Murphy Foster. Tim attended Catholic Elementary Schools and graduated from Farmington High School and attended Fort Lewis College. Tim married Darlene Moore in 1966 at St Mary's Church in Farmington. He worked for many years at Arizona Public Service. Tim owned and operated Foster Plumbing and Heating and was active in Builder's Trust of New Mexico. Tim was interested in the growth and development of San Juan County. He enjoyed people and had many friends. He enjoyed traveling with Home Builders of New Mexico. Tim enjoyed keeping abreast of the political climate, both local and national.
Tim is survived by his wife of 49 years and have three children Julie Lauderback, Jay Foster and wife Lala, and Mindy Jill Cunningham and husband Craig. Grandchildren Hunter Lauderback, Corbyn Foster, Sage Lauderback, Kevin Cunningham, Tyler Cunningham, and Ila Foster. Along with sister, Sharon and brother in law Harry Lane, niece Griffyn, and nephews Derek, and Zachary Lane.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to Farmington Museum Foundation at Gateway Park at 3041 East Main, Farmington, NM 87401
A visitation we be held Tuesday, March 8 at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home 103 E. Ute in Farmington from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 414 N. Allen, Farmington. Burial to follow at Kirtland-Fruitland Cemetery. Timothy's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home.
