Thomas S. Krake, 68, of Farmington, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, in Farmington. He spent his early years in Bethlehem, Conn. He graduated from South Kent School, attended Stevens Institute of Technology, graduated from Waterbury State Technical College and he served in the U.S. Army. He and his family moved west in 1980, eventually settling in the Farmington area. Tom was a gifted woodworker who also loved the outdoors, sailing and camping. he was a longtime employee of Western Technologies, Inc. in Farmington.
Tom is survived by his wife of 47 years Lynda (Woike); daughters,, Megan and maren and their spouses; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild all of New Mexico. He is also survived by his brother Leland "Dutch" W. (Bev) Krake III of Bethlehem. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary (Hart) and Leland W. Krake Jr. and his brother Jonathan Krake.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 312 N. Orchard Ave. in Farmington.
