Thomas L. Fulton

Thomas Leroy Fulton, 76, of Farmington, passed away January 23 surrounded by his family at home. He was born April 19, 1938 in Wichita,
Kansas to Earl and Evelyn (Jimmie) Fulton. He married Joy Dee Curtis December 31, in 1955.
They moved to Farmington from Borger, Texas in 1962 and Tom was employed with Bovaird Supply Company for 30+ years. He worked until he was 70 years old, retiring from Western Energy. He loved sports helping to start the YAFL in Farmington; he coached and led his team to league Championships. He was no stranger to Connie Mack baseball and coached the Quadco Comets leading them into the 1976 Connie Mack World Series. He loved all his players and they admired him; anyone who knew Tom loved and respected him. Tom loved golfing, fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, and RVing.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ray, and an infant daughter, Cheryl Sue. He is survived by his wife Joy Dee; son Robert Earl and grandson Hunter Thomas Fulton; daughter Linda Fulton-Harris, grandson's Joshua and Seth Harris and great grand-daughter Morrigan Harris.
Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at Bethany Christian Church, 711 E. 30th St., Farmington on Wednesday, January 28th at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Evans officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Farmington Boys and Girls Club or Connie Mack World Series Committee.
