Thedore William Krein, Jr.

Thedore William Krein, Jr, aged 66 resident of Bloomfield, New Mexico went back home to his Heavenly Father on July 12, 2023. He was born on February 9, 1957, In Woodstock IL to Theodore William Krein, Sr, and Donna Lee Lange Avery. He had 3 siblings, Cheryl Wilkinson, Terri Penland, and John Krein.

Ted was in the Marine Corps. He graduated with his high school general education diploma after he received his diploma, he joined the United State Marine Corps. He served his country for 4 years and was released with an honorable discharge. While in the service he married Penelope Wood. They had two sons together Theodore William Krein 3rd and Jonwayne Merrill Krein. After they were divorced, he met Lori Lee Apple and together they had 3 children Jessica Ann Marie Krein, Daesha Lavonne Krein, and Skyler Krein.

Ted was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He had such faith and was striving to make it to one day make it to the temple. He had a huge love for sports. The Chicago Cubs were his favorite baseball team, and he couldn’t wait for the Cubs to go back to the World Series. He also loved the Green Bay Packers. Ted also really loved  Rock N Roll music. The older stuff. He was even part of a Rock N Roll band. Ted really enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, treasure hunting, talking about bigfoot and aliens. He Thoroughly loved a good hot dog. He loved being around family, you could always count on him to be at the family gatherings. He had a huge love for his grandkids. They were the light of his life and would always bring a smile to his face.

Ted is preceded in death by his parents Donna Lee Lange Avery, Lamar Avery. Sister Cheryl Wilkinson and Uncle Luvern Lange (Porky). He is survived by his parents Theodore William Krein Sr (Alice), siblings Terri Penland, John Krein. Children Theodore William Krein 3rd, Jonwayne Merrill Krein (Tricia), Jessica Ann Marie Krein, Daesha Lavonne Krein, and Skyler James Krein. Grandchildren Spencer Whitney, Theodore (Teddy) Haugen, Natasha Lynn White, Jonwayne  Merrill Krein Jr, Chauncey Alpheus George White, Clayton Jonathan White, Danika Ann Marie Norris, Natalee Rose Gutierrez, Jon Wayne Krein, Jacob James Thomas, William Allen Krein, Parker James Krein, Aria Marie Gutierrez and Aspyn Hadassah Westbrook. Along with many others he considered family.

Funeral Services: Friday, July 21, 2023, at the LDS Church, 902 W Blanco Blvd, Bloomfield NM 87413.  Viewing from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Services from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the East Hammond Cemetery, 19 Road 4989, Bloomfield, NM 87413.
