Tasha Marie Miller, 31, of Kirtland, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016 in Farmington. She was born on July 7, 1984 to Gary Glenn and Tanya Ann Cole in Farmington. She married Joshua W. Miller on July 8, 2011.
Tasha, at an early age, loved animals and the farm. Riding farm tractors with her grandad developed in her a love of rodeo and horses. She loved riding horseback with him. She thought he was superman. At the early age of six, she bought a feed store chicken at Circle W and entered it in the fair. She won and began a 14-year run at the fair showing chickens, goats, and pigs with her younger sister. She made state three times. In shooting sports, one year she placed runner-up in the Fair Queen competition. At fifteen, she became interested in hot rods. She and her sister helped their daddy build their first and from there they built four more together. At 18, she had her own Camero show car which she loved to show and drive fast. She would scare her parents to death. She won many awards. At the tender age of 21, she became a mom and her world revolved around her son Tyler. She met and married Joshua Miller at 25. Josh and Tasha shared her love of cars and kids as she became mother to two more. At 31, she began her brave fight against cancer and never lost her faith.
She was preceded in death by her brother Timothy Brian Hicks and grandparents Jim and Janice Cole and Deroyce Roquemore.
Tasha leaves behind her husband, Joshua; sons John Brennon Miller and Tyler Ray Cole; daughter Olivia Michelle Miller; parents Gary and Tanya Cole; sister Tamera Cole Beery; and grandmother Mary Roquemore.
A viewing will be from 10-11 AM on Friday, June 3rd at Pinon Hills Community Church, 5101 N. Dustin, in Farmington. Celebration of life will be at 11:00 AM on Friday following the viewing. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 6917 E. Main St., in Farmington.
Pallbearers are Gary Cole, Joshua Miller, Dusty Cole, Gene Stark. Honorary pallbearers are John Miller and Tyler Cole.
