Memorial Services for Tammy Joanne Lee of Springfield, Oregon (formally of Farmington, New Mexico) were held at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute, Farmington, New Mexico at 1:00pm Saturday the 13th of May. Tammy passed away peacefully after an unexpected illness with her boyfriend, James Cosby, at her side, on April 18th, 2017 at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Hospital in Springfield, Oregon.
She was born in Delta, Utah on May 21, 1970 and came into the Lee Family shortly thereafter. In 1972 the Lee Family moved to Farmington from Blanding, Utah, where her father, Jay, along with Uncle Spence, founded Lee and Oviatt Mortuary (currently Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home). Tammy was raised in Farmington attending Farmington High School. She gave birth to her daughter, Kateesha Lee in Farmington; she also lived in Albuquerque with her husband, Brett Naegele and gave birth to her second daughter there, Kayla. They enjoyed the Southwest culture dearly and spending time with their young family in Albuquerque and Farmington. Tammy moved to Oregon in 2001 and worked in Food and Beverage and the Hospitality Industry. She enjoyed spending time with family and especially her grandchildren. She had a special outlook on life and always saw the positive in life and other people. Her smile and cheerful laugh and disposition always brought smiles and good cheer to those around her.
Tammy is preceded in death by her father Jay W. Lee of Farmington and a brother, Tony W. Lee. Survivors include three daughters, Kateesha Lee of Farmington and Kayla Naegele of Ashland, Kentucky; Her Oregon Family includes-daughter, Allison Laurel Lesiecki (and Jeff); and sons, Zachory Alan Fry (and Katherine) and James Kent Dabler all of Springfield, Oregon; mother, Joanne W. Lee of Salt Lake City, Utah; brother, Jason Lee also of Salt Lake; sisters, Colette Slade (and Curt) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Becky Lee Wilson of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, and Tina May of Towaoc, Colorado as well as 10 special beautiful grandchildren, Eliza, Nyree, Adrian, Deshaun, Ariahna, Dante, Darius Evelyn, AJ, and Lincoln.
Tammy will be missed and loved by those who knew her. Her cheery carefree happy attitude and take on life was always a joy to be around and the ability to keep her sense of humor and laugh intact even at the most trying times in her life was a gift from God. She loved the great American North-West and had many good times in and around the Eugene area of Oregon. The Four Corners area also held a very special place in her heart. She is at last free from life's pain and sufferings and doing well in heaven.
