Sylvia J Dan

Sylvia Dan 66 of Nenahnezad, NM passed away October 15, 2012 in Albuquerque. Sylvia was born 8-6-1946, In Farmington, to Tom and Rosalyn Johnson.
She was born to Tachiinii and born for To'aheedliinii. Sylvia graduated from Kirtland Central High School in 1966. She worked with tribal and BIA programs.
She Retired as an Alcohol Counselor and was a board member with Nenahnezad School for many years. Sylvia was a member of DaNaHasta Church.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Jimmy C. Dan; her parents; brothers, Ralph and Irvin Johnson; her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Elizabeth Joe and maternal grandparents, Charlie and Martha Bekis. She is Survived by her son Ira "Roland" Dan, of Fruitland; daughters, Patricia "Penni" Dan and Florence "Floey" Dan, of Fruitland; Brothers, Arnold (Evangeline), of Denver, Colo. Phill Johnson and Leon (Anita) Johnson, all of Fruitland; sisters, Marlene Gonzalez, Verna and Stanna "Tami", all of Fruitland and Zelma (Rodney) Larson, of Waynesvillle, MO.; grandchildren, James "Echo" Fage, Jayde Toledo and "Boo Boo" Easton IV and Great Grandchildren, Jordie Fage and Laylah Kanulio. A Visitation will be at 2:00 Pm to 5:00 Pm Friday, October 19, 2012 at Cope Memorial Kirtland Chapel.
A funeral service will be at 10:00 Am Saturday October 20, 2012, at DaNaHasta Church with Irene Nez officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 Pm in Memory Gardens,
