Steven Quintana

Steven Quintana passed away on Sunday June, 16, 2013. He was 63 years old. He was born on November 28, 1949 in Pecos, New Mexico to Gerardo Quintana and Rosarito Sandoval Quintana.

Mr. Quintana served in the United States Army. He was currently employed at Tri-State G and T, Escalante Plant. He attended St. Vivian's, St. Teresa and San Rafael Catholic Churches.

He is survived by his wife; JoAnn Quintana of the family home in Grants. His sons; Raymond Toby Quintana also of Grants and Paul Salazar of Albuquerque. His daughter-in-law; Rhonda Quintana of Idaho Falls, Idaho. His four Grandchildren; Anthony Quintana and his fiance Mercedes, Stevie Quintana and his fiance Becca. One Great-granddaughter; Kaesha Vera. His mother; Rosarito Quintana of Milan. His brother; Florentino Quintana and wife Gloria of AMilan. His sisters; Louella Metzger and husband Scotty, and Isabel Bearded of Grants. His mother-in-law; Elicia Martinez of Espanola, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father; Gerardo Quintana. His son; Steve Quintana, and tow sisters; Eloisa Salazar and Erlinda Quintana.

A Memorial Rosary will be recited at St. Vivian's Catholic Church on Thursday June 20, 2013 at 7:00 pm led by Deacon Timoteo Lujan. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Father Michael Vigil on Friday June 21, 2013 at 10:00 am also at St. Vivian's Catholic Church. Burial of his cremated remains will follow at Grants Memorial Park. VFW Post #3221 will provide military honors.

Honorary Pallbearers include; Anthony Quintana, Stevie Quintana, Stephaney Quintana, Jefferey Martinez, Kaesha Vera and Paul Salazar.

Cope Memorial Chapel of Gallup is entrusted with arrangements.
