SHIRLEY JEAN TOLIVER
June 6, 1928 - November 7, 2016
Shirley Jean Toliver, 88, of Farmington passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 in Farmington at her home. Shirley was born June 6, 1928, Dupree, South Dakota to John Sejnoha and Beulah Eddy.
Shirley was an amazing mother and grandmother. She had a zest for life and an unusually different sense of humor. She loved the cabin at Vallecito and would spend many hours working in the yard. Shirley would take power walks in the Colorado country side. She was the head nurse for many years for the Farmington Public School system. Shirley served as a LT.JG in the United States Navy. When you asked her how are you feeling? She would always reply "with my fingers!" Reagan wishes she had the OH's back. Grammie always took time for the grandkids no matter how tired or busy she was taking them to the park or on vacation with them. Shirley will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband R.T.; son Doug ; daughter Robbie, grandson Chad. She is survived by daughter DeeAnn and husband Bill; sisters Helen and Betty; granddaughters Reagan and Sabrina; grandson Colton, nephews Dan, Ross, Bill and wife Connie and niece Jonnie and many dear friends and colleagues.
Cremation has taken place and memorial services for Shirley will be June 10, 2017 at "the Cabin" Vallecito, Colorado at 1471 County Road 500, in Bayfield, Colorado.
