Sherry Lee Parrott, 63, of Farmington, passed from this life Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, in Farmington. She was born Dec. 28, 1953, in Farmington.
Sherry went to Mesa College in Grand Junction, Colo. after she graduated from high school. Following heart surgery, she transferred to Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo. She worked for many years in the banking industry in Fort Collins, Denver and Castle Rock, Colo. She had her second heart surgery during this time. She returned to Farmington 12 years ago to care for our aging parents until their deaths. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Sherry's hobbies include beading wire jewelry making; she was a self-taught chain maille maker. Other hobbies include reading and needle crafts. She enjoyed traveling. One of her most memorable trips was her trip to Hawaii with Ken and Juli. She attended the Crafty Ladies group at The First United Methodist Church. Getting together with other beading buddies was fun for her. Along with her parents, she was a member of the San Juan Gem and Mineral Society.
A memorial service has not been planned at this time.
