Sherry Francis Hopper

Sherry Francis (Draper) Hopper, 79, of Farmington, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014. She was born September 30, 1935, in San Angelo, Texas, to Ruby Rouse Draper and Harlon Draper. She soon became a New Mexico native and graduated from Farmington High School in 1953.
She married the love of her life, Mike Hopper in 1984; and was blessed with one son, Glen (Becky) Fuller; and three daughters, Melanie (Steven) Crawford, Jeanne (Mike) Shepherd, and Riki (Art) Colburn. Ally, her dog, was her best friend.
Sherry was a successful business owner of Big Arrow Pawn, Bloomfield Pawn Shop and Hopper's Video Store
Sherry enjoyed going to Las Vegas, Nevada, fishing off her pontoon boat, and dancing at the Elks Club. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan and "did it her way!"
Sherry is survived by her husband, Michael Hopper; her children, Glen, Melanie, Jeanne, and Riki; 7 grandchildren, Steven Serrano, Tiffany Snyder, Chad Wright, Brooke Casselberry, Jared Fuller, Jayme Harcrow, Jett Fuller, and Anyssa Colburn; 4 great-grandchildren, Mason Snyder, Madison Snyder, Cyan Casselberry, Zurich Casselberry, Dillon Wright, and Cayden Wright; and one brother, John Paul Draper.
Services for Sherry will be at 11:00 o'clock a.m., on Tuesday, November 18th, at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute Street, Farmington, with Bishop Carroll Carter officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 6917 East Main St. Pallbearers are Chad Wright, Jared Fuller, Jett Fuller, Steven Glenn, Lang Slayton, and Art Colburn. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Oakley, Steve Glenn, Noel Davis, and John Paul Draper.
