Shanin Michelle Garvey

December 11, 1975 — March 6, 2017

Shanin Michelle Garvey, 41, of Farmington, passed away from this life to her heavenly home Monday, March 6, 2017, in Farmington, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 11, 1975, in Ft. Campbell, Ky.
Shanin was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, niece and beloved friend to many. Shanin loved yard sales, craft fairs, plants, gardening and camping with her family. She collected holiday bears, cookbooks and turtle figurines. She truly loved her job and her coworkers at San Juan veterinary hospital.
Shanin is survived by her loving husband, Dan; daughter, Meghan; mother, Cheryl Hickmott all of Farmington. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Hunley (Chad); nephews, Cory and Brian Hunley; aunt and uncle; Beverly and Glen Leimer; cousin, Brittany all of Tennessee; and extended family.
A viewing will be at 1:30 p.m. prior to the funeral service at 2 p.m. today, March 10 at the Cross Roads Community Church, 2400 N. Butler Ave. in Farmington with Pastor Dave West officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Memory Gardens Cemetery, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington. A reception will follow at the Crossroads Community Church.
Pallbearers are Chad Hunley, Cory Hunley, Brian Hunley, Rick Terpsma, Michael Terpsma and Kasey Maxwell.
