Sarah E. Trujillo
May 14, 1981 - Dec. 20, 2017
Sarah Elizabeth Trujillo, took her last breath on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, giving the gift of life to three others in the process via organ donation. She was born in the early morning hours of May 14, 1981, in Albuquerque, to Cheryl and Pete Trujillo.
Sarah was beautiful, smart, funny, generous, and full of life. She would cuss like a sailor, fight like a man ... but would give her last dollar to someone in need.
She attended Aztec Schools and San Juan College. She had two beautiful daughters; Kaitlyn and Bella. Sarah became very involved in Autism Awareness after discovering her daughter, Bella, was severely autistic at a young age. She loved both of her daughters deeply and would do anything for either of them.
Sarah is survived by her children. Kaitlyn Trujillo and Estreya (Bella) Barela; her fiancé, Freddy Alcon; her parents, Pete and Cheryl Trujillo; siblings, Rebecca, Isaiah, and Rachel Trujillo; a niece, Ava Warren; and nephews, Robert Warren and Lucas Trujillo.
We would like to sincerely thank those who showed the family generosity, compassion, and kindness during this very difficult time. We would like to especially thank Mr. Martin Ferre of Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home for his assistance. Words cannot express our sincere appreciation.
A memorial service for Sarah will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30 at the First United Methodist Church, 123 E. Chaco Ave. in Aztec. No reception will follow.
