Sarah Ann Anderson

February 15, 1935 — January 3, 2017

Sarah Ann (Annie) Anderson age 81 of Kanab, Utah passed away January 3rd, 2017 in Farmington New Mexico. She was born February. 15, 1935 in Kayenta, AZ to Squire Ralph Mangum and Ila Womack. Annie attended school in a number of places, last being in Waterflow, NM. She was a professional baker and loved to cook. While Annie never had children of her own, she loved and enjoyed spending time with all of her nieces and nephews. She was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church and would attend no matter where she was. Annie will be greatly missed by her family, especially her siblings, but she is now reunited in Heaven with the love of her life Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Anderson, both of her parents, sisters Sue Knowles and Mary Kathleen Mangum, paternal grandparents Squire Newton Mangum and Sarah Ann Mangum, maternal grandparents Rufus Womack and Susan Womack.
Annie is survived by her brothers Ralph L. Mangum and Jerry Mangum, sisters Janice Eliason and Grace Neville.
Funeral services to be officiated by Bishop Hank Starr, at 10 o'clock am, January 7th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 804 W. Blanco Blvd. in Bloomfield. Burial to take place at a later date in Georgetown, UT.
Annie's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. Farmington, NM. Those who wish to express their condolences may do so at serenityandcompany.com.
