Samuel "Sammy" William Gomez

May 15, 2013 — October 15, 2015

Our beautiful angel, Samuel "Sammy" William Gomez, age 2, of Farmington, returned to his Heavenly Father. God needed another beautiful rose for His garden, so on Thursday, October 15, He called him home. Sammy was born May 15, 2013, in Farmington, to Michael and Rachele (Huff) Gomez.
Sammy was our adventurous twin. He loved playing outside with his two big sisters; Krystie and Kambria; and his twin brother, Daniel. Sammy was compassionate, and always knew how to make you feel loved. No walking for him, he was always running, jumping, and always had a smile on his face. He greeted everyone as a friend. His smile will forever be in our minds and his laugh will forever be heard by the family he leaves behind.
Sammy is survived by his father, Michael; mother, Rachele; sisters Krystie and Kambria; and twin brother, Daniel "Danny". He also leaves behind grandparents, Greg Gomez, John Huff and Donna Brewer; great-grandmothers, Rebecca Gomez and Patsy Hightower; and great-grandfather, Norm Barber. Also his aunts; Mary and Jessica Huff, Lizabeth Taft, and uncle Jhett Gomez, and Aunt Heather Sanchez; god parents; Aaron and Corinna Martinez
; and many aunts, uncles, great aunts and great uncles, and tons of cousins; too numerous to mention.
Sammy was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Jose Gilbert Gomez; great-grandfather, Auburn Hightower; great-grandfather, Kenneth Huff; and great-grandmother, Joan Barber.
A Rosary for Sammy will be held Tuesday, October 20, at 7:00 pm, at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish, 404 N. Allen, Farmington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 21, at 10:00 a.m., also at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish celebrant Father Tim Farrell. Pallbearers are going to be Sammy's loving family; Michael, Rachele, Krystie and Kambria. Honorary Pallbearer will be his twin and partner in crime, Danny.
Sammy's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute, Farmington, (505) 325-8688.
