Samuel Blancas, 74, of Aztec, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015. He was born on Dec. 5, 1940, to Jorge Blancas and Ignacia Almeraz in El Paso, Texas.
Samuel lived a very fulfilling life. He was humble and very satisfied with his accomplishments. He would take the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was so smart he could tell you about almost anything.
He loved to read. Once I gave him a small paper back he said it was too small he could read it in 30 minutes. He was very talented. Man Old Man, I love you.
Samuel was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Sammy Blancas Jr,; daughters, Yvonne Blancas and Sonya Escoto; step-daughters, Lisa Abbybia and Cuca Glindio; brothers, George Bloncas and Andy Blancas; sister Dora Fierro; and many grandchildren.
