Rose Marie (Kren) Spolar

Rose Marie Spolar was born on April 21, 1931 in Gallup, New Mexico to Joseph Kren and Katherine Ortman Kren. She passed away on October 25, 2014 in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was 83.
Ms. Spolar was a past employee of Dr. Zecca and Dr. Hughey's dental office, and Holiday Nursery, where she enjoyed sharing her love of gardening. She also loved to read, crochet and going fishing. She was an active member of BPO Does #40 - Gallup. But she will best be remembered for her warm smile, and the love and the pride she had for her family. She will be missed by everyone that was fortunate to know her.
She is survived by her children; Sandi Johnsey of Gallup, Michaelea Spolar and her husband Grizz Williams of Grand Junction, Colorado, Michael Spolar and his wife Vicki of Gallup, and Frank Spolar and his wife Franki also of Gallup. Five Grandchildren; Kristal Morales, Kurt Spolar, Michael Spolar, Keith Spolar, and Kyle Spolar. Six Great-Grandchildren; Caesar Morales, Sean Spolar, Athan Morales, Adyson Spolar, Paige Spolar and Luke Spolar. One niece; Joanne Kelsey. Along with numerous other extended family members who also survive her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Julian Spolar who passed away April 22, 1985. Her parents; Joseph and Katherine Kren. Two brothers; Joey Kren and Walter Kren.
On Friday October 31, 2014 at Cope Memorial Chapel from 5:00 -7:00 pm a visitation will held, A Rosary will then be recited at 7:00 pm led by Ms. Clara Enriquez. On Saturday November 1, 2014 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Cathedral a Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Nathaniel Block. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
Pallbearers include; Kurt A. Spolar, Keith R. Spolar, Kyle C. Spolar, Michael J. Spolar, Caesar Morales I, and Caesar Morales II.
Honorary Pallbearers include; Athan K. Morales, Sean A. Spolar, Luke R. Spolar, Adyson M. Spolar and Paige E. Spolar.
