Robert "Bobby" Jude Marquez Dec. 20, 1962 - Dec. 29, 2015
Robert "Bobby" Jude Marquez was born Dec. 20, 1962, to Pete and Gloria Marquez. He was brought home in a red Christmas stocking as a very special Christmas present to his family. He passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, in his home. Bobby is survived by his mother, Gloria Marquez; siblings, Ross and (family), Louise Johnson (Bob), Peter (Tonya), Leo (Monica), Liz Armenta (Jake), Chris (Kelley), Patsy, Matthew (Aaryn), Franco (Janelle) and numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and two great-great nephews, as well as, one Godson Zayne Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Marquez; niece, Crystal Marquez; and his Godparents, Martha and Arsenio Quintana.
Bobby was a fun-loving and humorous person with a heart of gold. He was number 6 in a family of 10 and the first sibling to be with our Dad, Pete Marquez in heaven. He had a charismatic personality and had met many friends along his journey. Bobby lived life to its fullest. He was the type of person who would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. Most of his dear friends and family have a story or fond memory of Bobby that brings a smile or laughter. Bobby adopted many children in his life. He would fondly call them "Best Friend" and often take them to the store to pick out something sweet. His adventurous, loving and generous spirit has now reached his eternal home. He told his family that he was ready to meet his Savior Jesus Christ. He left us with a great example of suffering, taking his pain and trials heroically. Bobby's suffering here on earth is his divine key to Heaven's gate.
