Richard "Dick" E. Papp, 83, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015, in Farmington. He was born on May 21, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., to Mary and John Papp. Dick was employed by Ford Motor Company for 32 years as a supervisor. He served in the U.S. Army for two years as a corporal. Dick married Barbara Faltus on Oct. 8, 1955. He enjoyed motor homing, especially attending motor home rallies. He was an avid sports fan particularly of the University Of Michigan Football, Notre Dame Football, The Detroit Tigers, and the Arizona Cardinals. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and John Papp of Chicago; brother William Papp of Dolton, Ill. He is survived by his wife Barbara Papp; sons, Glen (Monica) Papp and Richard A. Papp, and his grandchild Jacqueline E. Papp. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 18 at Brewer, Lee, and Larkin Funeral Home in Farmington. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 19 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 404 N. Allen Ave., in Farmington, with Father Tim Farrell as celebrant.
