Richard "Dick" Charles Wilson

Richard Charles "Dick" Wilson, 86, of Monument, Colo, passed away on Friday, Jan 15th, 2016 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born May 24, 1929 in Sperry Oklahoma to Charles A. and Juanita Chambers Wilson. He attended school in Farmington through High School and later met and married the love of his life, Wanda. He and Wanda lived in Farmington for many years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and was well-known in the community during his time in Farmington. Dick and Wanda also resided in Enid, Okla for about 25 years.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dugan Wilson, and sisters Jeanetta Conrad and Patty Ann Holtgren.
He is survived by his wife Wanda Lou Crandall Wilson, daughter Cindy (Al) Ludlow, grandchildren Charles and Miranda Ludlow, nephew Charlie McDonald, nieces Vicki Wood and Pam Wilson.
A visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm on Friday, January 22nd at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St., in Farmington, with a service following at 2:00 pm. Dick will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1606 N. Dustin Ave., in Farmington, with full military honors by VFW Post #2182.

Dick's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute Street in Farmington, New Mexico (505) 325-8688.
