Rebecca Lynn (Weeks) Clark

September 16, 1948 — October 25, 2015

Rebecca Lynn Weeks Clark, of New Braunfels, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015. Becky is remembered as a fun-loving, generous, witty, beautiful, wife, mother and friend. She was born Sept. 16, 1948, in Avoca, Texas, to Raymond and Marta Weeks. She graduated Wichita Falls High School in 1966. In 1973, Becky graduated with honors from New Mexico State University with a bachelor's degree in education. Becky taught school for many years, worked as a paralegal and a land professional, and served in numerous volunteer capacities throughout her life. Most recently, in New Braunfels, she served on the Christus Santa Rosa Hospital Patient Advisory Board. She also did volunteer work for her church, CASA and hospice. She had many passions and pursuits, but her highest priorities were her Lord Jesus Christ, her children and her grandchildren. Becky was known for her love of rock 'n' roll and Elvis, her passion for reading, and her gift, from God, of taking care of cats, but most important, she will be remembered as a woman of God who cared deeply for people, being most concerned about their eternity. From her youth, Becky's life was, and continues to be, founded on her trust in Jesus Christ.
Becky married Robert G. Clark on June 2, 1968, in Farmington. He preceded her in death. Her brother Michael Weeks, as well as her parents, also preceded her in death. Becky is survived by her husband, Harris Osborne; her sons, Brian and Brandon and Brian's wife Kathleen; her grandchildren, Brianna, Nicholas, Elyse and Madison; her great-granddaughter, Kielynn; her stepchildren, Jason and Amanda; her stepmother, Genelle, and her closest friends who saw her through her most difficult times in life.
A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30 in Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be sent to Friends of Christus Santa Rosa Foundation, 100 NE Loop 410 Suite 706, San Antonio, TX 78216. Please write "In memory of Rebecca Clark" in the memo line on any checks.
Rebecca's care is entrusted to the Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W. Arrington St. in Farmington, 505-327-5142. Those who wish to express their condolences may do so at serenityandcompany.com.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary." - Isaiah 40:31 -
