Randy "Smok-E" McKenzie Jr., 39, of Farmington, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, in Farmington. He was born Feb. 4, 1974, in Gallup, to JoAnn McKenzie.
Randy was a loving man. He attended school in Gallup and Farmington. He worked in the oilfield. He was a tattoo artist, who enjoyed playing darts and dominoes. Randy brought joy to the hearts of many.
Randy was preceded in death by his son, Jacob I. McKenzie; father, Randy McKenzie Sr. and his grandmother, Mayme J. Hamilton.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Arellano; sons, Jonah McKenzie, Dominic Maestas and Joseph McKenzie all of Aztec; mother, JoAnn of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Robert Pierce of Las Vegas, Nev.; and sisters, Rhonna Tenorio of Farmington and Pam Siow of Las Vegas, Nev.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Bloomfield Assembly of God Church, 211 E. Oak Ave., with Pastor Ed Wolford officiating.
Inurnment will follow in the Aztec Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Robert Pierce, Timbo Johnson, Andrew Tenorio and Chris Langford.
