Ranche Marcellus Dudley, 93, of Farmington, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 1st in his daughter's home in Westchester, OH, surrounded by family. He was born May 3, 1924 in Lamar, Oklahoma. He retired from Arizona Public Service, is a WWII Navy Veteran and served five missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with his wife, Freeda Dudley.
Ranche was preceded in death by his first wife Carol (Collyer) Dudley, his parents, Gladys and Emmett Dudley and his siblings, Gene Dudley, Wanda Daugherty, Juanita "June" Woolf, John "Jack" Dudley, James "Bennett" Dudley, Nance "Ham" Dudley, Deanna Dudley, and son-in-law Tom Bishop.
He is survived by his second wife, Freeda Jacob Dudley, brother, Roger Dudley and children: Paul (Renee) Dudley, Ann Bishop, Laurie (Gary) Picklesimer, Sloan (David) Piffer, Fausta (Andreas) Guertler; stepchildren: Ellen (Ed) Campbell, Lawrence "Jake"(Marguerite) Jacob, Anthony "Tony" (Valerie) Jacob, Jacqueline (Randy) Klock, 41 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
Ranche was a friend to everyone. His love, humility, example and kindness will stay with us forever.
A viewing will be at 5-7:00 pm on July 14th at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Mortuary, 103 E. Ute St., Farmington. Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday, July 15 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1310 E. 25th St., Farmington. Burial will follow in the Kirtland Cemetery.
