Phyllis Cutting Crosby - resident of Farmington, NM passed away surrounded by her loving husband, daughters and granddaughter in her home on February 25th. She was born on Nov. 19, 1933 in Andover, ME daughter of Wallace A. and Marian Cutting.
Phyllis served several terms (1971 - 1977) on the Gilmanton NH School Board. She graduated from NH Technical College in 1980 and was employed as the Administrative Assistant to the President of Laconia Shoe Co. and later as Administrative Secretary to the Principal of Laconia High School. Phyllis and her husband retired to Farmington, NM from Gilmanton, NH in 2001.
Her favorite pastimes and hobbies included traveling across the country and camping. She loved knitting, and crocheting and belonged to a Tuesday afternoon knitters club at the Farmington Sr. Center.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert S. Crosby, daughters: Nancy C. Nelson of Farmington NM, Susan Hale Crosby and granddaughter Victoria Hale Stearns of Veazie.ME.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Brewer Lee and Larkin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cathy Lincoln Cancer Fund or Annie's Orphans Dog Shelter of Durango.
