Paul Padilla Jr. of Whiterock, New Mexico passed away on March 22, 2015 in Whiterock. Paul was born on June 5, 1927 to Paul Padilla Sr. and Fay Bigthumb. Paul was born to Tsenahabilthnii Sleepingrock born for Tooaheedliinii Running Water Together. Paul Padilla was a lifetime sheep rancher upon his return from the military. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and with the US Marine Corp and US MC reserve before being honorably discharged. Paul was a Navajo historian as well as the family historian. He was also an expert on traditional land marks and memorable events in the Whiterock area. Paul is preceded in death by his parents Paul Padilla Sr. and Fay Bigthumb and his grandparents Bah and Keyonnie Nez. Paul is survived by his brother Clinton Jim of Standing Rock, New Mexico and his sister Cecelia Morris of Mexican Springs and numerous nieces and nephews. A service for Paul was held on Saturday March 28, 2015 in Whiterock, New Mexico. Paul care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel in Farmington, New Mexico
