Paul M. Moreno, Jr., 54, passed away in his home on Sunday, September 21, 2014, in Farmington, NM. He was born in Farmington, NM, on February 3, 1960, to Paublin and Trinidad (Aragon) Moreno as the youngest of 10 children.
As a lifelong Farmington resident he was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was married to Marcella Montoya for 25 years.
As a young man he worked as a roughneck and later made a career of working as a welder for the Boilermakers Local 627.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Paublin and Trinidad Moreno; brother John Paul; and grandparents Marcos and Nestorita Moreno and Avenicio and Carmelita Aragon.
He is survived by his wife Marcella Moreno; son Paul Moreno III; daugher Angelicia Gloria Artalejo (Noe Artalejo); brothers Martin Moren, Olivar Moreno and Sheno Moreno; sisters Erlinda (Johnny) Maestas, Tillie Munoz, Mary (Dennis) Gallegos, Pauline (Ben) Cruz, Angee (Chuck) McMurry and Carmel Gutierrez; grandchildren Isidro Moreno, Mercadyz Silva, Nathaniel Silva, Mario Artalejo, Jose Contreras and Crystal Contreras; great grandchildren Micky Contreras.
A rosary will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute. St., Farmington, with Father Tim Farrell officiating. Cremation to follow.
