Patrick Tafoya

Patrick Tafoya, 71, went home to his heavenly father on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014. He was born in Las Naturas, to Alverdo and Clara Tafoya on Aug. 12, 1943. He enjoyed his family and friends. He loved the out doors, especially watching his grandchildren play sports. He took great pride in his work and family commitments. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him especially his wife Lori of 50 wonderful years together. We want to thank all the workers and doctors at the Cancer Center. And the caring staff of Guardian Angel Hospice Care. Patrick was preceded in death by his dad Alverdo Tafoya; brother Abie Tafoya; sister Rosemary Rivas; and grandparents, Ramon (Celia)Tafoya and Eustacio (Pefelia) Espinoza. He is survived by his wife Lori Tafoya; sons, Chris Tafoya, Phillip (Elia) Tafoya and Jerold (Linda) Tafoya; daughter Jessica Pardo; mother Clara Tafoya; brother Richard Tafoya; sister Joann Tafoya; five grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren. A rosary for Patrick will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2100 E. 20th St. in Farmington and Mass will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 7, also at St. Mary's, with celebrant Father Frank Chacon. Interment will be in Memory Gardens following Mass. A reception will follow at S. Mary's Parish Center in Farmington. Patrick's care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W.
