Patricia Ann MacCready

February 8, 1931 — January 7, 2013

Patricia MacCready, 81, of Farmington, passed away on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 in Farmington. She was born Feb. 8, 1931 in Kenosha, Wis. to Emmett and Marie Algiers.
She was a devout member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church since 1976, when she moved her family from Kenosha, Wis. where she was born and raised. Pat spent much of her time traveling the United States and visited many historic land marks.
Pat loved to garden, read and building puzzles with her grandchildren whom she spent much of her time with. She worked in the Farmington School system and had always assisted children with reading and math at all levels.
She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends as well as her little birds that she fed everyday.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild, Tyler Venable.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Mac Cready; son, Thomas MacCready; daughters, Annamarie Beatty, Katherine L. MacCready, Sandra Jean MacCready-Clark; brothers, Emmett P. Algiers and Richard Algiers. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation for Patricia will be 6 p.m., today, Thursday, Jan. 10 at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home.
Rosary will be recited following the visitation 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
A funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Tim Farrell celebrant.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Tom MacCready, Craig MacCready, Alan Jamison, Merle Clark, Carli MacCready and Jenavieve Jobe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Breast Cancer Society - Research and Treatment.
Patricia's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington, 505-325-8688.
