Pamela Kay Newton was 71 years young, she was a resident of Aztec New Mexico, and went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 1st, 2021, in Farmington, New Mexico. Pam was born on December 20th, 1950, in Dallas, Texas to Lester and Pauline Graham.
Pam worked in the customer service industry for over 40 years in Farmington New Mexico, the last 27 years at Walgreens on Main Street. Pam never met a stranger and was the friendly smiling face when people went to “her” store. She had such a large giving heart, she was always willing to pray for you, with you or over you. She would give the last dollar she had away, if it meant that someone was taken care of. She loved life and loved her family. She was the happiest when all her family was surrounding her. She truly loved her family and everything she did, was for them. Pam was loved by most of the community, and she will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.
Pam is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Bob Newton, her son Orien Newton (Michelle) and her daughter Sharon Kay Gutierrez (Mario), her five beautiful grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pam’s Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If you would like to make donations to The Potter’s Way Church in Pam’s memory, please mail to Pastor Bob Newton at Road 2621 #4, Aztec NM 87410.
Afterglow
by Helen Lowrie Marshall
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
