Orval W. Webb, 75, of Aztec, passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, in Farmington. He was born Aug. 3, 1939, in Fort Sumner to Virgil W. and Ida Leola Webb.
Orval was a successful entrepreneur and general contractor. He loved hunting, fishing, shooting trap and spending time with family and friends. He will be most remembered for his generosity, kind heart and patience.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil W. and Ida Leola Webb; brothers, Buddy, Olan and Marvin Webb; and sister, Arlene Darrow.
He is survived by his wife, Leona Webb; daughters, Jeannie (Daryl) Burson and Judy (Cecil) Morrow; brothers, Leroy and O'dell Webb; sisters, Margaret Oldham, Erma Harkey, Fredia Briscoe and Linda Archer; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at College Heights Baptist Church,
2700 Harvard Drive, Farmington, with Pastor Burson Corley officiating. Burial will follow at Aztec Cemetery. Reception will follow burial at College Heights Baptist Church.
Pallbearers are Daryl Burson, Cecil Morrow, Chad Burson, T.J. Morrow, Juan Robles and Bruce Perry. Alternate pallbearers are Don Englehart and Chuck Wasson.
