Olin L. Glover, 78, of Farmington, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, July 21, 2017. Olin was born in Perry, Oklahoma, to Dewey and Leona Glover, on March 1, 1939. Olin was an Oilfield Consultant and worked for Atomic Energy Commission. He owned his own oilfield trucking company for many years. Olin loved boating, fishing, golfing and bowling. He was the Wyoming Senior State Bowling Champion in 1995. He was married to Hallene "Hally" T. Glover for 40 years, and they enjoyed spending time traveling in their motor home with their dog, Roxie. Olin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Olin was preceded in death by his parents; Leona Walters and Dewey Autry Glover; brothers, Dean and Paul Glover; and a sister, Naomi Haefner. He was also preceded in death by his sons; Mitchell Hoffman and George Glover.
Olin is survived by his wife Hallene "Hally" Thorn Glover; son, Darren T. Hoffman; daughters, Kimberly Dorsey (Floyd), Tammie Melton (Ray), Brandi Jacobson (Bruce) and Tamela F. Getchell (Perry); brothers, Dewey Glover and Merlin Glover; sisters, Esther Thomas and Nora McGhyhy; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; a niece, Debbie Kutac and a nephew, Mike Glover.
Services for Olin will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 26, at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute St., Farmington; with Bishop Kirby Mortensen officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m., in Moab, Utah, at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bryon J. Getchell, Bradley E. Getchell, Darren T. Hoffman, Perry E. Getchell, Daniel Cruth, and Don Bloomfield.
