Funeral services for Nicholos Brandon Tsosie, 22, will by at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at the Tohatchi Christian Reformed Church. The Reverend Marvin Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Lone Pine Cemetery.
Tsosie died April 25, 2015, in Albuquerque. He was born August 15, 1992, in Gallup, into the Zia Weaver People Clan born for the Bitter Water People Clan.
Tsosie was a student in Tohatchi. He enjoyed drawing, playing the guitar and drums, skateboarding, playing video games, listening to music, being with family and friends, cooking, and was always willing to help others.
Survivors include his wife LaTisha Silversmith of Twin Lakes; mother Angela Sam of Mexican Springs; brothers Kneanderthawl Tsosie and Dorian Allison both of Mexican Springs, Dominic Tsosie of Wyoming, Dakota Tsosie and Isaiah Tsosie both of Oregon sister Aliyah Becenti of Mexican Springs; and grandparents Marie Sam of Mexican Springs, Clara Kinsel of Mexican Springs and Joe Lee Tsosie of Mexican Springs. He was preceded in death by his father Rodelle Tsosie and grandfather Willie Sam.
Pallbearers will be Kneanderthawl Tsosie, Dorian Allison, Quinten Smith, Jeremy Mitche, Kurtwood Henry, and Christopher Arviso.
Cope Memorial Chapel of Gallup, NM is entrusted with arrangements.
