Morris Kline, 69, of Farmington, passed away peacefully Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at his home in Farmington. He was born July 10, 1947, in Gallup to the late Antonia and Morris Kline.

Early in life Morris was in the Army Reserves, and after his time in the Reserves, he was trained as a journeyman electrician. He later worked at power plants throughout the southwest, San Juan Downs, and San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington.

He met his first wife Nancy Amsler in Gallup and they were married in 1968. He met his second wife Carole Waite in Farmington and they were married in 1978.

Morris was well liked and loved in his community for his infectious smile. He could always be counted on to lend a hand to friends in need, and he was known at San Juan Downs as "Dr. 100" for his surgical electrician skills. Morris could always make someone laugh with his positive attitude and quick jokes. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and working with his hands.

Morris was preceded in death by his four brothers; Max, Stanley, Willie, and Ralph. He is survived by his first wife Nancy and their children Becky and Jeff, and his second wife Carole and their son Chris. He has five grandchildren; Jeffrey, Conley, Gerri, Casey, and Crystal. He also leaves behind numerous other relatives throughout New Mexico.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7 at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home Chapel, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington.
