Mitchell Lee Mosley went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. Mitch was born Nov. 12, 1981, in Durango, Colo., to Val Mosley and Debbie Hare-Mosley.
Mitch was raised in Bloomfield. In 1992 he moved to Tucson, Ariz., returning in 1996 to Farmington. He graduated from Farmington High in 2000. He played baseball at baseball several junior colleges, and then graduated in 2005 with two business degrees from NMSU in Las Cruces.
Mitch had a love for the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with family and friends. He also had a love for sports, playing baseball from a young age and until his death.
He is survived by his sister, Shauna (Quade) McNealy; nephews, Acea and Jaron; fiancée, Kendra Wright; grandparents, Walter and Jackie Mosley and Wilbur (Theda) Hare. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Gena Hare; and cousins, Bridget and Zachary.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Piñon Hills Community Church, 5101 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington, with Matt Boswell officiating.
A reception will follow.
