Michael James Colerick

October 15, 1950 — February 12, 2013

Michael "Mike" Colerick, 62, of Farmington, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington after a lengthy illness. Mike was born Oct. 15, 1950 in Alliance, Neb. to Lyle L. and Caryle Colerick.
Mike excelled at all sports, particularly baseball while attending Farmington High School. He attended Mesa State College to play baseball there. He loved watching and playing sports.
After his college days, he returned to Farmington and joined the real estate appraisal office with his dad and continued that work until his health caused him to close his business.
Mike leaves behind his mother, Carlye Colerick; brother, Mark Colerick and wife, Nancy; niece, Katie; nephews, Matt and wife, Jen, Joe and wife, Christy; great-niece, Mollie; great-nephews, Sammy and Wyatt; aunts, Eva Toline and Marlene (George) Finnell; numerous cousins and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle "Moose" L. Colerick; an infant brother, William Colerick; maternal grandparents, Elise and Garvand Fulcher and paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Melvin Colerick.
Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, at the First United Presbyterian Church, 865 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington with Reverend Glenn Perica officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Michael's name be made to the Connelly House, c/o San Juan Medical Foundation, PO Box 110, Farmington, NM 87499 or the charity of your choice.
Mike's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington, 505-325-8688.
