Max Maestas

Max Maestas, 79, was born on March 4, 1942 in Gallina NM who resided in Farmington NM for 30 years went to be with our Heavenly Father on January 23, 2022.  Max was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.

Max was preceded in death by his parents Maclovio and Eduviginia Maestas, brother Alfirio and sister Viola.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Jean Maestas and sister Dilia, his son Freddy (Jodie) and daughter Evelyn (Floyd), four granddaughters, Stacie, Tiffany (Manuel), Robyn, Alysha (Steven) and five great grandchildren.

He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.  A Rosary will take place at 10:30 am and the funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, January 28, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2100 E 20th Street, Farmington NM and burial will follow at the Memory Gardens of Farmington 6917 E. Main Street, Farmington NM with pallbearers Manuel Sandoval, Steven Cassels, Eli Maestas, Tim Ramirez, Stanley Dean and great grandson Dante Baca.

Honorary Pallbearers are his great grandchildren, Abby Baca, Madison, Ally, & Noah Sandoval and soon to arrive Sawyer Cassels.
