Maurice Reo Christensen

Maurice Reo Christensen, 78, of Farmington, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 in Farmington. He was born September 17, 1934 in Kirtland, NM to Reo Christensen and Ellora Palmer Christensen.
Maurice , known to others as "Moe" worked at Smith Lake Trading Post from the late 1960's to the late 1980's. He then moved to California for a number of years returning to Farmington where he lived for the last few years. He will be truly missed by those whose lives he had touched with his special charisma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reo and Ellora Christensen. He is survived by his wife, Judy G. Christensen, sons, Danny, Kelly, and Glen Christensen and Joel Sullivan; daughters, Kimberly Rich and Kipalee Prince. Also surviving are brothers Lynn and Donald Christensen and sister Coleen Heaton.
Visitation for Maurice will be held on Wednesday, December 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 400 W. Apache Street, Farmington. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Bishop Jared Lusk conducting. Interment will follow at the LaPlata Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ramey Christensen, Casey Christensen, Levi Christensen, Gabe Christensen, Sam Christensen and Grant Gillery.
