Mary Agapita Sanchez

Mary Agapita Sanchez (January 30,1930-May 10, 2020) passed away on Mother’s Day. Mary was born in Blanco, NM but lived most of her life in Farmington, NM. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Gil & Adelia Luna, her twin sister Irene Montano, her brothers Gerald, Joe, and Max Luna, her grandson Seth Stallings and her great granddaughter Princess RoseaLee Jane Mitchell. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 73 years, Christoval (Chris) Onofre Sanchez; four children, Janie Padilla, Chris Sanchez, Jr., Robert Sanchez, and Rebecca Zellers; twelve grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; and her sister Angie Erickson. She also leaves behind her church family at United Pentecostal Church pastored by Steve Carrington. Pastor Steve Carrington will be officiating services Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 11:00 am.
