Mary Lou Greenwood, 84, of Farmington passed away on June 25, 2016. She was born on July 1, 1931 to Paul and Sadie Ramer in Dolores, CO.
Mary Lou thrived on family. She loved and was very much by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary Lou was an amazing cook and had most family gatherings at her house.
When her husband George fell ill she stopped working to stay home and be his caretaker for the next 14 years. After his passing, she spent the next 15 years traveling and seeing the world. In addition to traveling, she loved to read and work in her yard. Mary Lou was a long-time member of Sunrise Christian Church and, while able, was very active in the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband George E. Greenwood; parents Paul and Sadie Ramer; brothers Delbert, Merle, and John Ramer; and sisters Pauline Walden and Thelma Butler.
