Martina "Tina" L. Yows is gone but will never be forgotten. She was born May 28, 1924, to Bernard and Melvina Wethington. Tina was a loving mom, nanny and great-nanny. She loved being with family. Tina worked at Cradle and Teens for many, many years. She has seen a lot of the boys and girls that she helped grow up into adults in Farmington. When she wasn't working she enjoyed being outside in the yard and flower garden. A lot of people remember how pretty her flowers were in the summer. The family would like to thank Dr. Kompare and all the beautiful people at LifeCare Center of Farmington for their help in taking care of Mom. Tina was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gail E. Yows; brothers, Francis, Tom, Bill, Sarge and Jim; sisters, Margaret Birkenfield and Bernadine Ambabo. She is survived by her son, Larry G. (Pat) Yows; grandchildren, David (Misty) Yows, Sheri (Dextin) Wilson; great-grandchildren, Dusty, Selena and Chloe; brothers, Ed Wethington, Herman (Sandy) Wethington and Jack (Mary) Wethington; sisters, Millie Gaylor, Pat (Roy) Nickles; sisters-in-law, Emma and Vickie Wethington; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Per Tina's request, there will be no services. Tina's care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W. Arrington St. in Farmington, 505-327-5142.
