Maria A. (Munoz) Velasquez

Maria Adelina Velasquez, 91, of Blanco, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 in Blanco. She was born December 5, 1920 to Refugio Munoz and Gertrudis Chavez.
Maria was employed by the Blanco Elementary School from which she retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Velasquez, a son, Leroy Velasquez, a daughter, Nora Velasquez, her parents, two brothers, Simone and Fidelito, four sisters, Agnes, Juanita, Trini, and Delavina.
Maria is survived by her son Paul Velasquez and two sisters, Clara and Emma and three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation for Maria will be held on Friday, October 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church in Blanco. A Rosary will be recited following the visitation at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rose Catholic Church on Saturday, October 13that 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Blanco.
