Lydia A. Jaramillo, 84, of Bloomfield, passed away on May 29, 2016, in Farmington. She was born on November 5, 1931, to Manuel and Amalia Sandoval, in Costilla, New Mexico. Lydia was a loving wife to Carlos Jaramillo; and mother to Ronald, Wilfred, Julie, Lyn and Carla. She had a loving and fun personality and loved spending time with her family. She was known and loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Lydia was proceeded in death by her parents, Manuel and Amalia Sandoval; brother, Filemon Sandoval; sisters, Rosanita Marez, Edith Santistevan, Mary Sandoval, and Bernila Manchego; and son, David Carlitos Jaramillo. She is survived by her husband, Carlos; sons, Ronald Jaramillo, Wilfred (Julie) Jaramillo; daughters, Julie (Danny) Armenta, Lyn Marquez, and Carla Taylor; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m., on Friday, June 10, 2016, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomfield; followed by a Catholic Mass at 10:00 a.m., with Father James Walker as Celebrant. Following the services, Lydia will be laid to rest at the Catholic Cemetery in Bloomfield. Family and friends are invited to meet back at St. Mary's Parish Hall for lunch.
