Lucy M. Aranda age 87 beloved mother, grandmother passed away peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father on March 27th, 2016 @ 12:10 A.M.
What a Blessing for our Heavenly Father to take Lucy home on one of the holiest days of the year, Easter Sunday.
Lucy was a devoted Pentecostal. Lucy loved the Lord and walked closely with the Lord. Lucy prayed for her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren every day.
Lucy was known to many as Chia.
Lucy entered this world in Angostura, NM on April 14, 1928, the daughter of Juan and Catalina Trujillo.
Lucy will be deeply missed by her children: Bobby Trujillo and wife Helen, Larry Aranda, Tommy Aranda and wife Diane, Cordy Singleton, Norma Tidwell and husband Gary, Albert Aranda and wife Starla. Lucy's 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Lucy's is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, numerous great nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and her son, Jake, who passed away on Dec. 19, 1997. Lucy was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Jessica Aranda in May of 1987. What a wonderful reunion Lucy is having in Heaven with her son Jake and all of her loved ones.
Lucy lived her life as a true servant of God.
Lucy helped everybody she could help, even if it meant she went without what she needed.
Lucy loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren unconditionally.
Lucy was an exceptionally kind and loving person.
The loved ones of Lucy would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to Princeton Place for the loving care Lucy received from the nurses and CNA's. We would also like to express our appreciation and gratitude to Hospice of NM.
Lucy will be remembered for her tortillas, Lucy made the best tortillas.
Lucy will be deeply missed by everybody that knew and loved her.
Pallbearers: Carlos Singleton, Anthony Aranda, Brandyn Aranda, Eli Aranda, Mitchel Aranda, Erick Aranda, Edward Aranda, Emmett Aranda and Eddie Aranda.
Honorary Pallbearers are her sons: Bobby Trujillo, Larry Aranda, Tommy Aranda, and Albert Aranda
Lucy's care is entrusted to: Riverside Funeral Home in Albuquerque, NM and Brewer Lee and Larkin Funeral Home in Farmington,NM.

Viewing will be at the Calvary Apostolic Church 405 E. Gladden Drive, Farmington, NM. At 6:00 p.m. on Wed. March 30th, 2016. Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 30th
Funeral services will be at the Calvary Apostolic Church 405 E. Gladden Drive, Farmington, NM, Pastor Dunn's church at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Ike Gonzales and Pastor David Velasquez officiating.
Burial will follow her funeral service in Bloomfield NM and Lucy will be laid to rest next to her son, Jake.
A dinner will be held at the Calvary Apostolic Church in Farmington following her burial.
