LORRAINE MARTIN LUCERO, 71, of Farmington passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 in Farmington. Lorraine was born September 9, 1943 in Las Vegas, Nevada the daughter of Henry and Dora Martin. Lorraine lived her life in San Juan County. She attended school in Bloomfield and Farmington. She was a homemaker who cared deeply for her family and her pets. Lorraine made sure that love and laughter lived in her home. She had a huge heart and will be missed deeply by her family and friends. Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband Rudy Lucero; parents Henry and Dora Martin; brothers Patrick Martin and David Martin. She leaves behind her sons Gabriel Lucero and wife Sara; daughter Diane "Sugie" Lucero; brothers Gene Martin and Henry Martin, Jr.; sisters Flora Martin Mascarenes and Mary Ann Martin; grandchildren Kelsey Brown, Mia Lucero, Lukas Lucero and Anna. Visitation for Lorraine is today Thursday, February 5th at 6:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Parish, 2100 E. 20th St. in Farmington; followed by the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. also at St. Mary's Catholic Parish. Mass of Christian Burial is Friday, February 6th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Parish, 2100 E. 20th St. in Farmington with Father Frank Chacon as celebrant. Lorraine will then be taken to Greenlawn Cemetery for burial. Pallbearers are Fabian Rivas, Donny Valencia, Richard Wallace, Pat Lucero, Timothy "Jumbo" Martin, and Joshua Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Martin, Henry "Papoy" Martin, Lukas Lucero, Billy Sanchez and Jefferson Brown.
