On Saturday January 9, 2021, Lois Pearl Hodgson, 85, returned to her eternal home in heaven. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was born on July 22, 1935 in Shamrock, TX and moved to Farmington in 1949 where she later met and married the love of her life Dale Hodgson.
Lois was a hard worker and worked many years at Mesa Drug and then Western Warehouse. She loved to garden, read, watch old tv shows, and do puzzles, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She loved her family more than anything.
She is preceded in death by her parents Tommie and Dessie Suitor, her husband Dale Hodgson, sons Clarence Hodgson and Steve Hodgson, her sisters Lorene Mouser and Shearl Goodwin and brother Tommie Suitor.
She is survived by her son Richard Hodgson, grandson Kaleb Hodgson, granddaughter Bethany and her husband Matt Ray, great-grandchildren Levi Whitley, Luke Whitley, and Kellan Ray, two sisters Velma Tuttle and Pat Perry, numerous nieces and nephews, along with many other family members and friends who she loved dearly.
A small outdoor celebration of life will be held at 11am on Thursday, January 14 at a private residence #79 CR 5324 Farmington, NM followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Richard Hodgson, Kaleb Hodgson, Matt Ray, Levi Whitley, Luke Whitley, and Kellan Ray.
