Lisa K. Long was born on November 2, 1967, in St. Joseph, MO, to Roger and Francis Ciolek. She graduated from Douglas County High School in Castle Rock, CO, in 1986. On November 25, 1990, she married David Long, of Farmington, and the 25 year adventure began.
Lisa was self-employeed most of her life living in the Denver and Chandler areas; eventually settling with her loving family in Farmington, working for Sun Country Powersports. Lisa adored the outdoors, and spent as much time as possible in nature with her family. She approached life with grace and poise, always with a smile that could lighten any room. She showered her family and friends unwaveringly with affection and love.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Roger Ciolek. She is survived by her husband David Long; daughters, Kristen and Sarah; mother, Francis Ciolek; sisters, Cheryl Klus and Carole Leunburger.
A Rosary will be held on Monday, April 4, at 7:00 p.m., at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute Street, Farmington. A Mass of Christian Life will be at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, April 5, at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish, 414 N. Allen Ave, Farmington with Father Tim Farrell as celebrant. Pallbearers are Karl Klus, John Lee, Rodger, O'Neal, Derek Henkowski, Cory Lee and Domenic Bier.
