Lillie (Bradford) Trusty, 94, passed away at home on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014.She was born on Sept. 23, 1920 in Clovis to Arthur and Minnie Bradford. She attended Albuquerque High School and University of New Mexico. In 1939 she married Roy Trusty and they were married for 54 years until his death in 1993. She was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord and led her family to do the same. She was active in the Baptist church all of her life and was still teaching a Sunday school class at First Baptist Church of Aztec to the age of 94. Lillie loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them on camping trips, other travels and at home. She enjoyed traveling in the united States, Mexico and Canada going on Caribbean and Alaskan Cruises and especially her tour of Israel. She was a piano teacher and both a church pianist and organist. She worked for Albuquerque Public Schools as a bilingual educator. Lillie was dearly loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy Trusty, son Arthur Trusty, two brothers and a sister. She is survived by her son Leroy Trusty and daughter Carolyn (Danny) Cox. Grandchildren, Mike (Monica) Trusty, Laura (Rodney) Campbell, Paul (Makara) Trusty, Bryant (Melvina) Cox, Lisa Trusty, Benjamin (Katrina) Cox and 14 great grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, at the Cope Memorial Chapel in Aztec. A Funeral Service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Aztec with Dr. Rodney Campbell, and Dr. Kevin Parker officiating. Pallbearers will be Daniel Campbell, Caleb Campbell, Mike Trusty, Paul Trusty, Bryant Cox, Ben Cox. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Farmington. Donations may be made to Relocation/Building Fund at the First Baptist Church in Aztec. Lillie's care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W.
